I should have known Capri would be having a bad day.
Okay, so I did actually eventually wake up with a puppy-ball in my spoon. But during the night, he was all stretched out beside me, and you know how when dogs dream, sometimes they think they're running or something, and their paws are moving? Well Zeth's paws were braced against the wall making this horrible scratching sound, which I woke up to around 4, physically removed them from the wall, and went back to sleep.
Bah! Okay, today was WAY more stressful than Wednesday. Why? Because life is just full of surprizes, that's why. So I get to the studio nice and early to photo copy, but two of the songs still need to be printed off the computer... which is in Regina getting repaired, or updated, or something. The Level 1 Beginners were psycho/hyper today (and yeah, there's 15 of them-- can we say glorified babysitter?) And of course THEE challenging student of the studio, who by the way, has been doing soooo well lately, was very tired and grumpy and difficult today. She got in deeeeep trouble from Miss V a few times!! She didn't feel like having fun, but I forced her to, haha. (I made her play Simon Says-- yeah, she loved it). Big smiles by the end of class.
So here I am, thinking the day is a total dud, when the last class comes in. THEY WERE EFFIN' AWESOME!!! I started teaching them their new song today (without having lyrics, as they are in RE-FREAKIN-GINA), and by the end of class they were doing very difficult 2 part harmony in the chorus. (these are 10-11 year olds). They gave me chills, and I wanted to cry!! I love that class. They're awesome.
Okay!! So by this point, I'm in a good mood. I pack up my stuff, I'm walking down the hallway... and what do I smell? COFFEE!!!!
I'm thinking, Oooooh someone is making coffee in the staff room upstairs (do we even have a coffee maker?). I walk into the lobby area, and *gasp* we have a brand freakin new GORMET COFFEE MACHINE!!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my..... oh my..... *breathe!!* So.... excited.... *runs up and hugs machine multiple times*
So if you were in a biker gang, what would they call you? 'Cuz I'm thinking a name like Dinkle would just get your thinkle sprinkled.
Something to think about!!
... and that's why, for hundreds of years, everyone thought tomatoes were
PoisoNESS (biker name).
