Blessed
Part 1
Well wouldn't'cha know it.
The sound equipment at Common Grounds dies and there's no open stage this past Monday.
So we watched two episodes of Lost instead. Quick side story; let me fill you in.
A group of us gather in the basement as often as possible and stuff as many episodes of Lost in as we can get into one evening. We call ourselves "the Lost Cause", and we're losers.
But back to the Common Grounds thing: here's the amazing part. About 20 people I knew were going to come. About 10 of them ended up telling me, "Oh, that's cool that it's cancelled. Cuz I have: a really big test tomorrow/ a huge assignment/ a paper due. So basically about 10 people were going to screw themselves over just so they could hear me play.
Well I'm glad it didn't work out then. Next week seems to work better for everyone here, anyway.
Isn't that amazing support? I am so blessed.
----------------
Part 2
If you want your brain to hurt, read my essay.
Go to "The Well", under people I like to stalk, then find the post about "Why there's evil in the world". Click on the comments. Yeah, it's really long. It made my head hurt.
Hope you can have the same pleasure!!

Wow, ur friends down there sound wonderful. They weren't even gonna tell you that they were gonna screw themselves. Instead they were just gonna come and support you. Don't you love when that happens when someone is doing something nice for ya with out telling you, and then you find out, and it makes you feel just wonderful?

It's because God gives us free will that we can choose to believe what's contrary to his nature.
Our deepest moral judgements are not deceptive. It's nice to know that we can trust our moral conviction.
These two statements describe what I beleive, and why I don't go to chruch. Well sorta anyways, or the way I understood them. God does exist, and he is good, but my morals still tell me its ok not to beleive everything a chruch might tell you, and that I should develop my own beleifs without someone telling me what they should be! I beleive u and I had a conversation about this once.
Very nice essay though. Quite an interesting read.

Unless one is a diabetic, eating eggs can lower the risk of heart attacks and strokes. It turns out eggs have many, many nutrients that are more beneficial than the cholesterol is harmful. Overall, eating up to 1 egg per day is unlikely to increase the risk of heart attacks or strokes in healthy men and women.
5-6 eggs per week appears the best for men, lowering the coronary artery disease risk by 10%, although eating 7 or more per week raised the risk by 8%.
For women, eating eggs lowered the risk of heart disease most at 1 per week or at least one per day - both lowered the risk by 18%.
For diabetics, the risk of heart attacks and strokes goes up by eating eggs.
Now that is interesting material! Eggs are good. I like eggs. But one second they are the breakfast of champions and the next they are bad for you and could give you a heart attack. It is the same way with the debate of margerine and butter. One second butter is better then the next second margerine is best. We have all this great technology but we can not figure out if eggs are harmful or helpful? or margerine is better than butter? Sometimes sciene and research seems bogus. Always changing and flip floping. Just like statistics. We always read and hear statistics everywhere trying to convince us of something or other. Like 60% of all alcoholics that take the AA 12 steps conquer alcohol. Or 75% of all college students cram for their final exams. or my favorite every 9 out of 10 statistics are made up on the spot. Ok so yea I made that up. Speaking of make up I was reading that more and more guys are starting to wear small amounts of make up. Like eyeliner and cover up. Now I am not talking about goth guys wearing makeup but rather respectable businessmen and even labour workers. They have found that women like guys who use a small amount of make up because it sharpens some of the features, however, the same women would not want to know if their guy wears make up. They think it is weird. Speaking of weird the other day when I was at work I met a girl named diamond that I went to church with way back in the day! yeah it was crazy. Speaking of crazy... well... I am crazy. I am supposed to be doing a report right now on a book called "Love is a Choice". It is an ok book. But anyways my point is that I am procrastinating finishing my report. I only have about 2 pages left to type up, double spaced, so its really not that much to get done before 7 tonight. Speaking of 7 tommorow is the 7th and tommorow is friday and then there is a long weekend because of thanksgiving! Awesome. I am really bored. I remember my last thanksgiving. I was in B.C. and the school cooked up a darn good thanksgiving dinner for us. I really miss B.C. and school there, I mean I love it here to but i miss the rain... and I hate the freezing cold of saskatchewan. This comment is getting really long now isn't it? Hmm. Well i do have homework I should go and do. It is good to see that you are posting again Vanessa. I am also posting again. And my site has a slightly new look to it. Oh and now anyone can leave a comment on it now. Yeah. Hmm. Ok I will stop and go do my report.
