HOT OFF THE PRESS!! Vol. 1

Pre>S>
Best violining day EVER today!! Not only does shifting make sense, and I played really well, but all of a sudden, *click!!* I understand how to do arm vibrato! No more frustration over that one! Now I'm excited to practice. Marla gave me this gorgeous song to learn called Melancholy Waltz. It goes up to notes I haven't even learned on the violin yet!!! (ha ha) High and prettyNess!!

A note about the new song:
"It seems to me there're too many songs about love."
Absolutely. This song is NOT about love and loss. See, another thing I realized about why I was upset over the topic of my last post, is that I always thought some day down the road, we'd be in each other's lives just a little bit. Like old acquaintances with a tinge of friendship. The latest news was that pivotal straw that made me decide I absolutely never want to see or hear from him again.
That's what the song is about.
(Just in case you were feeling inquisitive)
----------------------------------------------------------
BACK

(chorus:)
And now I know
We'll never get it back
You should know
I'm never coming back
You turned your back
If just for show
You should know
I'm not coming back

I've been thinking:
I've been avoiding thinking
and over-thinking
and under-thinking
Way too much

You have touched my life
Way too hard
and way too soft
And now so far,
You're outta touch

I can't even say hello

(chorus)

I'm not so good at compensation
And under-compensation
And over-compensating for your
Frustration

And you're not so good at
reconciliation
It's all fun and games
'Til someone loses

An' I know how to say good-bye

(chorus)

Bridge:
I have nothing left to say
Anyway
At the best of times I doubt you
This situation is I lose, you win
And now I realize it has always been
About you

(chorus x2)
