Kentucky Fried Everything.
Hey y'all!
Well first of all, you know how us Canadians like to say "Hey" and we get accused of saying "Eh"? Well, I figured out why. Here, there is really no difference between the two, because no one here ever poses this question at the end of the sentence.
We would say, "You're making a pretty big sandwich, hey?"
Where-as here, they would say "Y'all are making a pretty big sandwich."
And yes, they really do say y'all, all the time, even if there's only one of you.
And apparently I have a really thick Canadian accent, which to me, only Newfoundlanders have. But whatever. I'm stylin'.
So I'm basically a student. I am living in residence on campus. I use the library computer. I am even on a committee. I attend events. I just don't go to class. So basically I'm a really bad student.
Tomorrow a mild hurricane is booked to blow through from Louisiana. That's something new. It has been raining for two days straight, and tomorrow we add the Saskatchewan winds. A hurricane blew through last year and Mary Joy said everyone made such a big deal about it, when really it was no worse than a windy day in Saskatchewan. So we'll wait and see.
I'm not making direct plans to move to Nashville yet. I'm waiting on God for that one. I'm just getting nice and established in the States. I opened a student bank account today (he knew I wasn't a student, but didn't care), and I'm going to the Social Security office tomorrow.
I haven't written anything yet... Well I've written lots in my notebooks, just no songs. There's too much and not enough going through my head, and I haven't sorted through it yet... kinda like the last box sitting in my dorm room.
I miss all of you.
You can call, email, and write me. (If you want my address or number, email me) And of course, you can blog me til your heart's content.
I'm singing on a Praise and Worship team tonight. Yep. Poser student strikes again.

Hey Girlie,
Sounds like YA'LL are having fun so far. It just seems sooo youish to have joined a commitee in your first week there. Good for you. I hope that storm you're going to get isn't a bad one, that stuff freaks me out man, but like you said it's probably not as serious as everybody thinks. Anyways gotta go, talk to YA'LL soon and you're missed around here.
Luv
Sarah Remillard

Wow, aren't we a little joiner. Going to "school" and on a commitee and everything, and you just got there. I was with michelle the other day when u called. I'm happy to hear that you made it alright seeing as I know how u and MJ make road trips together. Too bad the car situation didn't work out. I'm sure the things u left behind will make it there some how! Thanks for the address and telephone number. Love you lots.
