Here come the updates!!

Hold on to your boot-straps, little cowboys!! Here she comes!

Part I:
What a Card!

Wednesday:
Most people go to their morning class, then leave to go home for Thanksgiving (which is on Thursday. Weird, hey?)
Vanessa, Julie, Stephen, Mary Joy, and Davie play cards for 8 hours straight. Well, lunch and supper breaks are taken while staring at each other's face-down cards, hoping Stephen doesn't have the ace of trump.

We then go to Topher's house, where Jenni is house-sitting, to watch LOST, and *gasp!!* play some more cards!!

Thursday:
The Canadians accidentally sleep in and miss three calls from Davie wondering where the heck we are and if we got lost on the way to their house.
They finally head to the Rempfers' house, eat an incredible Thanksgiving meal, hang out with an incredible family, play Taboo-- with no french on the cards so that you get the sides mixed up and end up staring blankly at the french wondering if you should know this word... -- oh and yeah... we played plenty of card games. Shocking, I know.

Friday:
The Canadians GO SHOPPING!!!
Vanessa buys a new shirt, new jeans, Christmas CD's, and Christmas presents for Ther and WaDelia!!

Saturday:
Vanessa showers, then sits at her computer typing on her blog.
She is about to go downstairs on the ski-machine (like the NordicTrac, but lots older and therefore crappier). She is then going over to Pastor Jackie's for tea, along with Mary Joy (P.J. is the one whose kids I babysat a few times).
---------------------
Part II:
Time to buy a teleporter

General Updates:
Mary Joy sprained her ankle last week. I didn't mind driving her to and from classes at all. I just felt bad for her having to do a schwack-load of stairs on those things.
In more important updates, Caleb's comment on the last post hit me like a shocking ball of slime. Holy crudd!! (Two "d's" for emphasis). I can't believe how soon it is until I'm home! I dreamed about being home, last night. I'd tell you all about it, but it was effed.

Okay, my patient watermelons. The best part of this entire post:
I'M GOING TO THE BIG APPLE!!
Mary Joy has two auditions for Opera companies in New York, and I'm going with her on December 5th!! AHHHHHH!!
As if it's not enough to be going to NYC right before Christmas, with all the lights and displays and Time Square, but we're catching a couple shows too.
Wait for it...

We're going to see Carmen at the Met. And on Broadway...

WICKED!!!

Begin dying of jealousy... NOW!!
(If I knew how to make an animated firework display on this thing, it would be inserted right here).

Wow, I'm so excited for you. The big apple, xmas time (sorry I'm more excited about the big apple rather than the show, cause we all know how musically oriented I'm not) I can't even imagine how much fun that will be. I have yet to pick up ur xmas present. But at least I know what I"m getting you, and at least this year I know u don't have it already!

Can't wait till you arrive home! But I've got a delima. The day you get home, is also the day sue gets home, which is also the day before a final. BOO URNS!

Oh yeah- and Happy American Thanksgiving

It's amazing how much cards you can play and never get sick of it!
I think you should take me with you to NY! THe trip would be so much better if I came because I'm so amazingly fun to be around! I do wish I could go there one day, mainly just to catch a taping of the Conan O'Brian show! I know you all will have a fantastic time and I'm really excited for you. Now I will probably see you here in about 15 minutes cause I'm heading to the WF real soon.

so i was browsing through some random shirts online the other day (since my friends sent me a link to this website where you can sorta design your own but it's limited to certain designs which thus isn't really designing your own... but hey...), and i saw two shirts for chicks. the first one i laughed and thought of you: it was a pair of angels wings with large letters saying "51% angel!!" in between them with a very tiny "...and 49% devil" right below it. the second one i laughed and wondered which one was more accurate... "51% devil!! ...and 49% angel." and both times that i typed this i mistakenly put "angle" instead of "angel" at first since i just had my math lab this morning... grr @ classes @ 8 am... grrrrr !
