Counting down the hits of 2005.

Nessa's Soundtrack 2005. (Wow. I just wrote 2006. And I actually had to double-click on the calendar to find out what year it is. Getting a little ahead of myself)
Each selection pretty much embodies that period of time, whether thoughtful, goofy, or reminiscent of days gone by.
January: Waste - Brennan's version
February: Day One - Sarah Slean
March: Picky Penelope - as rehearsed by the L2I-- warning, very catchy!!! Michelle and I walked around singing it without realizing it, all the time!!
April: Saskafunk - as rehearsed throughout the entire studio!!
May: Pass That Dutch - Missy E.
June: Hollah Back Girl - Gwen Stefani
July: Teenage Dirtbag - (kareoke with WaDelia, MJ, Bob and me... "A-Star-Star")
August: Unwritten - Natasha Bedingfield
September: Take My Hand - Shawn McDonald
October: Alone - Me!
November: This Christmas - as sung by Jane Monheit (yes I start the Christmas spirit early)
December: I'm Not That Girl - Wicked
Recommended lyrical viewing: Waste, Unwritten, Take My Hand, Alone, I'm Not That Girl. These particular songs are very sonorous of that month's mood.
The spell-check recommends the word "waddle" for "WaDelia". In case you needed to know that info.

WhAt ThE fRuM?!? you had a christmas eve post and you're not posting it now because you didn't have 4 posts?!? :( you should have just called me and i'd have gone into some sort of bipolarist mode temporarily and added two comments of completely unrelated insignificance so that we could have another update from "canadia". *nods*
good hearing from you two on the phone, albeit briefly. MERRY CHRISTMAS!! :D

couldn't go post this where i wanted, so... about "lullaby":
*thinking back to the first time he heard her play the song after reading it again and singing along mentally when checking for updates*
this makes me remember times when i fell asleep with wet trails on my face and the forced mental image of curling up inside a cloak with warmth beyond imagining and love beyond comprehending... crying into god's arms so long i'm sure i stained the cloth... good stuff. this is the song i've missed most over the break, oddly enough (i can't really play my online radio station too well from here @ my house although now that i think about it we probably still have IE meaning i can probably still do it and am just retarded... but whatever.) i miss harmonizing this one with you... something about it just retains that intimate sense of deep crying out to deep, like... for lack of a better way to put it, a child in daddy's arms drifting to sleep, completely oblivious to and regardless of whether on a stormy sea or in a sunny field. it fits its purpose well.
