Caleb, where are you?

CAAAAALLLEEEEEBBBBB!!!! WHEEEERRRRREEEEE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRREEEEEEEEE YYYYYYOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU????

Have you disappeared or something?
Like holy crap, comment on my blog already.

------------------------

For that matter, where are ALL of you? I know I've been busy, I've neglected my blog, as well as you.
You're mad at me.
That's it, isn't it?
AWWWWWW come on, I didn't mean anything personal...
Do I really deserve to have no one commenting on my posts?
Or do I just need to threaten to take the CBox away again?
Or to never post again until all my FAVOURITE!!! (that's you!!) peeps leave comments for me?

All alone...
On the moon...
All alone...
Oh woe, oh woe...
The pain...

ABSOLUTE MADNESS

Why do we allow ourselves to seek out answers that we don't want to know?
We know better.
We know going in what's going to happen.
But we snoop.
We prod.
We ask questions.
We investigate.

And now I know.
Even though I knew that I knew.

And I'm mad.

The week in review.

Monday Vanessa goes in to work and gets sent somewhere else. Gotta love working for the campus. She spends the evening at Fuel and a meeting for the Spring Break Missions trip for Hurricane Relief in Mississippi.
Tuesday Vanessa goes in to work and gets sent somewhere else yet again, this time to a place on campus she's never been before. She gets to ride a golf-cart around campus as part of the job. (put-put-put-put... don't ask). In the evening she goes out with MJ, mom and Aunty.
Wednesday Vanessa goes in to work and actually gets to stay there. In the evening she goes out with MJ mom and Aunty.
Thursday basically doubles and Wednesday.
Friday MJ and Ness take mom and Aunty into Louisville (Looll-vull) to catch their flight home, then meet up with the girls for the ladies retreat, also in Louisville. Saturday they come home from the retreat.
Sunday Vanessa goes to church, prepares for Fuel tomorrow, blogs, and goes Ice Skating.
And resumes breathing.
Oh yeah...

Luke-warm off the press:

...stupid tuesday...

A crappy Tuesday in the midst of a string of crappy Tuesdays.

Ever get that feeling that no matter what you do, it's not good enough? Like no matter how hard you try, no matter what you say or don't say, act on or don't act on, you'll just never function on a level that makes you a generally successful human being? Correction is good; but wouldn't it be great if we could get to a place in life where we don't need to be corrected all the time? Sometimes it's hard to see being corrected as a step forward. Instead, we regress to a state of five-year-oldum where all we can see is that we've been corrected and therefore didn't do good enough.
I felt like today was a marathon. And when I was done I didn't see that I had accomplished a marathon. All I saw was that it was out of the way for today, to be ran again tomorrow, and next time go faster, don't flinch when the gun goes off, and wear better shoes.
Of course, in the long-run, this advice will make me a better runner. But for now I'd rather be five.

I want my glass of water and pat on the back.

Long time, no blog!

Don't hate me or go slinging hate mail around, please!!! I know, I know, where have I been?!!
Well...
At work.
Planning lessons.
Planning Fuel.
Playing at Fuel.

Monday was the first day at the deli. Tuesday was the first day at the grill. Wednesday (holy crap, it's only Wednesday?) I went in to the deli and got sent to the grill cuz they need me more. So from now on I'm three days a week at the grill and one at the deli, which is great, because the grill is lots of fun. The deli is like being whipped by a slave-driver, but hey, the hard work is healthy. I don't dislike it, I just like the grill more because there's more co-workers, and they're all insane.
So Monday I came home from work, practiced for Fuel, ate, and played and sang at Fuel.
Me = tired.
Tuesday I worked, came home... uh... the rest is a blank. I totally skipped the Well, I sucked at Dutch Blitz cuz I was really tired. And I was supposed to call my students but I didn't.
Which brings me to Wednesday.
I came home from work, met with Bill about Praise & Worship for this coming Monday, napped, played cards, and am now calling and emailing students to move them around this weekend. I totally skipped Youth; I only have time to blog because I'm waiting for three calls back and one busy signal to become free. I am only going in to Prestonsburg on Friday, which means I'm teaching group lessons instead of privates, but we know I'm used to the group setting, so no problem. This means I have Saturday off!
I'm really looking forward to Saturday.
Hey, if I get around to it, I may even shower tonight! Huzzah!!
